NOTICE:  Real Estate Assessment Notices for 2021 with values effective July 1 2021, were mailed to property owners on April 9, 2021. If you did not receive your assessment notice please contact the Assessor at 703-335-8811 or email the Assessor at cityassessor@manassasparkva.gov to request a Notice of Assessment. If you wish to change your mailing address please send that request in writing to the above email address.

The Office of the City Assessor is responsible for the valuation of all real property within the City limits. In addition to determining the value of land and buildings, we maintain a computerized database of assessment information specific to each parcel. This information includes ownership information, deed and plat references, and specific improvement or building information.

The information generated and maintained by our office is widely used by real estate agents and brokers, attorneys, title search personnel, prospective homebuyers, sellers, surveyors, and private appraisers. Assessment records, however, are only updated once each year in April to reflect physical changes during the previous year. For new additions or construction it may be necessary to access additional sources.

To obtain information from the Assessor's Office, send an email to cityassessor@manassasparkva.gov or call (703) 335-8811 and leave a message with your name, property address, phone number and good time to reach you. The Assessor's Office will return your call.
