On June 4, 2019, the Manassas Park Governing Body adopted an ordinance that reinstated the use of annual vehicle decals. The ordinance requires a decal to be affixed to any vehicle registered in the City of Manassas Park no later than midnight on October 5 of each year. Because this is a new requirement, enforcement was delayed this year to give all vehicle owners time pay the vehicle license fee and affix the decal.
Starting December 1, 2019, Manassas Park Police will begin enforcement of the decal requirement. This year’s decal is orange and it goes on the inside of the windshield, adjacent to the right side of the official state inspection sticker when viewed through the windshield from inside the vehicle. There should not be more than 1/4 inch of space between the decal and the inspection sticker.
Previous announcements regarding City decals can be found here.
Attached is an example of the proper way the decal shall be affixed to the windshield.
